ArtCycle competition turns heads, wheels at Art in the Park
June 7, 2008 | 12:00 a.m. CDTOver the past several months, Pam Ingram designed and created a non-commissioned art cycle in hopes of winning a $1,000 grand prize. Ingram, the director of Granny’s House, an after-school program for students living in public housing, decided to “bead paint” her students’ faces on her art cycle. Artists displayed their creations during a parade from Flat Branch Park to Stephens Lake Park June 7, 2008.
