Renovations at Swallow Hall to make better use of space

August 12, 2013 | 6:00 a.m. CDT
The ceiling on the second floor of Swallow Hall is 25 feet high, resulting in a lot of wasted space. Because of the way the building is designed, people needing to get from one side of the building to the other on the first floor must either exit the building or climb to the second floor, cross the building and climb down on the other side. Planned renovations will make better use of the space.
