Tamon Sawayanagi, right, 66, Yukihiko Kinoshita, center, 38, and Ryuzo Matsuo, left, 58, of the Imada Puppet Troupe from Iida City, Japan, animate a warrior puppet at Jesse Wrench Auditorium Friday. The troupe demonstrated traditional Japanese puppetry with help from Dr. Martin Holman, the coordinator of Japanese studies at MU. It takes a total of three people to animate one traditional Japanese puppet.
