August 27, 2013 | 11:56 p.m. CDTLeslie Aguilar talks with her student Damon Jennings, a sophomore taking Spanish II, during Tuesday's open house at Battle High School. "All the languages are rocking. They want us so much they're just clawing to get in," Aguilar said of the popularity of language classes at Battle High. She teaches a freshman advisory class, as well as Spanish I and II. Her smallest class has 27 students. "I'd rather have them packed in here than in smaller numbers. For us as language teachers, people want to be in these classes with us. ... That's exciting."
