MAP: Planned MU residence hall has potential for gender-neutral housing
September 13, 2013 | 3:49 p.m. CDTVirgina Avenue South Housing is scheduled to open fall 2015. The residence hall is being built with “gender-flexible” bathrooms, in which the showers and toilets have complete privacy. This means the building could potentially house any combination of men and women. If MU decides to implement gender-neutral housing, this would be the likely site.
