The Brouder Science Center is reflected in the top of the "Genome" sculpture that sculptor Larry Young, who graduated from Columbia College in 1976, created to stand in front of the center. The 12-foot-tall sculpture, which is made from stainless steel tubing, combines a strand of DNA with the human form.
