The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri distributed more than 90 million pounds of food in Missouri last year from five regional centers. Nearly 6.5 million pounds of that food went to families in Boone County. Volunteers from the Ashland Baptist Church help distribute food to more than 100 families at a food truck pantry. A similar scene plays out at nine rural locations throughout central and northeast Missouri every month.
