GRAPH: Number of low-income students in AP courses grows

Students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch come from households with an income at or slightly above the federal poverty guidelines. During the 2012-13 school year, 133 students who qualified for free or reduced-price lunch were enrolled in AP courses. The following year, that number nearly tripled: 395 qualifying students were enrolled.
