Two firefighters enter a burning apartment

Firefighters Zac Grace, left, and John Ambra work on taking down a door to enter a burning apartment building at 1006 Claudell Lane on Monday. Firefighters were dispatched at 2:40 p.m. to the fire. Heavy smoke appeared from both sides of the building. Two people, one adult and one child, were in the apartment. Both escaped safely. The cause of the fire has not been released.
