Volunteers come together to prepare Thanksgiving feast
November 21, 2007 | 12:00 a.m. CSTFrom left to right, troop leader Dan Tevis, Spencer Mills, Carl Wegener and Nick Sublett, all volunteers from Boy Scout Troop 708, sauté diced onions and green peppers Wednesday in the kitchen of Stamper Commons cafeteria at Stephens College. The Thanksgiving dinner, hosted by First Ward Councilwoman Almeta Crayton, will be served at noon on Thursday,in the Kimball Ballroom in Lela Raney Wood Hall on the Stephens College campus. Crayton expects to serve about 300 people.
