July 7, 2014 | 6:51 p.m. CDT
The Missouri Department of Conservation has set the number of antlerless deer that hunters in the Columbia/Jefferson City urban zone can kill with firearms during the 2014 fall deer hunting season. Previously, there was no limit to the number of antlerless deer that hunters could kill inside the urban zone, but the limit has now been set at two. Outside the urban zone, the limit was two antlerless deer and has now been set at one.
