Putting the kibosh on tire dumping in Missouri
June 8, 2008 | 12:00 a.m. CDTParker Naylor, on his property Wednesday, talks about the tires that have been illegally dumped there. After a rainy day, he is concerned about mosquitoes that could possibly carry the West Nile virus that might breed around the tires. He has owned the land since 1990, and the tires have been there more than 30 years. He is waiting for the Department of Natural Resources to send people to his property to get rid of the tires.
