Gear:

  • Dutch oven
  • Aluminum pie pans
  • About 18 charcoal briquets
  • Bisquick or other biscuit mix
Directions:
  • Preheat Dutch oven and oven lid. Prepare biscuit dough according to mix directions.
  • After about 10 minutes, the coals should be hot. Place biscuits in a pie pan, allowing edges to touch. Set the pie pan inside the oven and cover.
  • Check biscuits after 20 minutes. Biscuits are done when the tops turn golden brown.
