Sam Page

Sam Page, a state representative from suburban St. Louis, said his top priorities would be to reverse cuts made to the state's Medicaid program in 2005, to improve pay for Missouri teachers and to make college more affordable. Page supports a plan to make all college expenditures tax-deductible for families that earn less than $80,000 per year.

A 1992 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Page earned a medical degree in anesthesiology and settled in Creve Coeur, where he lives with his wife and three children. The 43-year-old served as a member of the Creve Coeur City Council from 1999 to 2002 before being elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2002.
