Public AdministratorBy Molly Harbarger Two people are in the running for the job of Boone County public administrator, a post Connie Bell Hendren will leave after 16 years on the job. The public administrator serves a four-year term and is responsible for managing the estates of deceased persons, minors or those incapacitated by disability when there is no legal guardian or conservator or when no one competent to assume such duties is known or can be found. The two candidates on Tuesday's ballot are Republican John Sullivan and Democrat Cathy Richards. |
