Robin CarnahanRobin Carnahan, 47, of Rolla is a fifth-generation politician whose bid for the secretary of state's office in 2004 was her first attempt to win public office. She opposes requiring voters to present government-issued identification at the polls and supports mail-in balloting. She says the state should do everything it can to make voting convenient. Carnahan also pledges to continue her aggressive pursuit of securities fraud. In her first term, she created the Missouri Investment Protection Center to provide investment information to citizens. |
