By By KATIE ROOKSTOOL  ¦   Calvary Episcopal Church held their annual pet blessing ceremony Wednesday, Oct. 1 during St. Francis of Assisi Day. Members brought their pet cats, dogs and even a snail to the evening Eucharist, then led them to the courtyard to receive a blessing from the Rev. Paula Robinson and the Rev. Amy Chambers Cortright. The congregation offered prayers and thanksgiving for the companionship and joy they find in their pets.
