Missouri women's basketball team lost 60-58 to Eastern Illinois in the first round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament in Mizzou Arena on Wednesday.
Despite being the first day of spring, the weather was cool with a high of 37 degrees and a wind chill as low as 18 degrees.

University Hospital opened the new $50 million Patient Care Tower on Monday. It includes a ROBOT-Rx, an automated medication dispensing system that can disperse up to 3,000 doses of medicine daily.
The clouds cleared enough after a gray Monday morning to give hints of spring. Kaitlin Post was able to take her blue heeler, Cricket, out for a long walk at Shelter Gardens.

Missouri men's basektball team players and coaches learned Sunday that they will be seeded No. 9 in the next round in the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers will play Colorado State in Lexington, Ky., on Thursday.
MU's Alternative Spring Break and other programs such as Engineers Without Borders offer students the opportunity to serve others during the break. Students have gone to Detroit and Honduras in the past.
