A total lunar eclipse begins as the final rays of the sun are nearly blocked by the Earth as seen from Seattle on Wednesday. The next total lunar eclipse will be in 2010. Also appearing in the night sky were by Saturn and the bright star Regulus on either side of the veiled full moon.
