Brush growth obscures telephone wires in a First Ward neighbordhood near the Salvation Army, 1108 W. Ash Street. According to Vernon Forbes, a member of the Central Columbia Get Out The Vote Committee, the brush growth, which can limit access for repairs to the lines, has not been properly addressed by the city.
