Ash Heibel, a registered nurse and Iraq veteran from Columbia, pulls in extra line while practicing fly fishing techniques for the first time at Little Dixie Lake in Millersburg on Wednesday afternoon. Heibel and other veterans have the opportunity to learn and practice fly fishing by working with members of the Capital City Fly Fishers, who give lessons on casting and fly-tying several days a month at the hospital and at nearby lakes.
