International Day of Peace

The Youth Community Coalition hosted the Community Peace Rally Against Crime and Violence on Sunday. Columbia citizens gathered at Douglass Park and marched to the Boone County Courthouse to raise awareness of local violence and the promotion of prevention and peace on the 25th anniversary of the United Nations declaring September 21 the International Day of Peace in honor of global ceasefire.
