Columbia public workers unload their trucks Monday afternoon at the salt dome on Big Bear Road. The salt dome holds 5,000 tons of salt, but only about 2,000 tons were used during the 2007 winter. Workers expect to have another early morning to handle the suspected snow showers on Wednesday.
