Ben Truesdell, a Rock Bridge High School graduate, prepared a hand-fried chicken cutlet with rice pilaf, sauteed green beans, glazed carrots with a lemon demi-glace for his first entree at the SkillsUSA national culinary arts competition in Kansas City last week.
