Debbie Colton, who has worked at Strawberry Hill Farms for two years, moves flats of potted plants on a cart Monday afternoon. The plants must be moved to other greenhouses to make room for the younger plants now being potted.
Rows of potted plants sit inside one of 21 greenhouses located at Strawberry Hill Farms. Amy Sapp, who runs the farm with her husband, Steven Sapp, said the farm will open for business on March 21, the first day of spring.

His parents, Gary and Joyce Sapp , started the farm in 1980. "They have officially retired, but it's more of a semi-retirement. They still do quite a bit," Steven Sapp said.

Flaspohler is leading discussions in two different book clubs on "What is the What" by Dave Eggers. The main character, Valentino Achak Deng, is schedule to speak on campus this week. "Out of all the countries in Africa, it sounds like they have the most problems right now," says Flaspohler, "and that's really saying something."
