Slideshow: Pagan Pride Day

September 29, 2008 | 1:34 p.m. CDT
The sixth annual Pagan Pride Day was held at Peace Park on Sunday. The event, which started with an opening ceremony, featured live entertainment, vendors and educational booths. Admission was free but attendees were encouraged to bring food or clothing to be donated to Loaves & Fishes or pet food to be donated to the Second Chance No-Kill Animal Shelter. The purpose of the day was to educate the public about Paganism, promote religious tolerance and allow Pagans to network with one another.
