Fourth of July on the Hinkson

The Hinkson Creek meandered in the background as Hinkson neighborhood residents gathered to celebrate July 4 at Columbia musician Sutu Fortes' home. The backyard concert and smell of barbecue drew neighbors in. Rain showers stopped the party for the few minutes it took to move the amps, guitars and piano back into a soon-to-be-crowded living room.
