Dorothy Stuart
Dorothy Stuart, formerly of Columbia, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009. She was 85.
She was born June 11, 1923, in Brookfield to Fred and Elva Peavler Stuart.
She is survived by two sisters, Doris Stuart and Betty Layer; a nephew, Randy Layer; two nieces, Susan Strommen and Connie Helland; one great nephew; and three great nieces.
Her parents and two sisters, Marian and Bessie Stuart, died earlier.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nilson Funeral Home, 5611 E. St. Charles Road in Columbia. Another visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, 1201 W. Helm St. in Brookfield. Services, conducted by D.D. Russell, will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
