Geneva Shettlesworth
Geneva Shettlesworth of Hartsburg died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at Boone Hospital Center. She was 87.
She was born Feb. 10, 1922, in Wilton to John and Nellie Scruggs.
She is survived by her husband, Roy; son, Jack of Tuscon, Ariz.; daughter, Iris Price of Centennial, Colo.; three sisters, Arlene Cavanaugh, Victoria Calvin and Barbara Mitchell; brother, Buford Scruggs; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
