Bernita Harlin
COLUMBIA - Bernita Harlin of Columbia died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009. She was 47.
Ms. Harlin was born Feb. 20, 1962, in Tuscumbia to Paul and Ila (Cleek) Harlin. Her cause of death has not been determined.
She worked at the Central Missouri Sheltered Enterprises since she moved to Columbia in 1991.
She liked the cartoon Tweety Bird and country music, her daughter Lynn Gastineau said.
She is survived by her five daughters, Lynn Gastineau and Ashlei Wheeler, both of Marshall, Stephanie Narron of Kansas City, and Heather Hines and Brandy Hines, both of Fayette; three brothers, Randy Harlin, Ronald Harlin and Larry Harlin, all of Marshall; and two sisters, Paula Anderson and Judy Adcock, both of Marshall.
Her parents and son died earlier.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Nilson Funeral Home, 5611 E. St. Charles Road, in Columbia. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Harlin will be buried at Ridge Park Cemetery, 804 E. Yerby Street, in Marshall.
