Arthur B. Clarke
Arthur B. Clarke of Columbia died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009. He was 60.
Mr. Clarke was born May 19, 1949, in Monahans, Texas, to Billie and Max Clarke.
He served in the Vietnam War, and was an electrical inspector for several companies.
Mr. Clarke also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 280, Elks Club, Master Masons and El Paso Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his mother of Columbia; a sister, Ceri Stevens; a brother-in-law, Jerold Stevens; a niece, Sabrina Lambrecht; and a nephew, Chad Knight.
His father and grandparents died earlier.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Parker Funeral Service, 22 N. Tenth St. Private graveside services will be held at Columbia Cemetery.
