Harold Rosebaum
COLUMBIA — Harold Rosebaum of Columbia died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009. He was 95.
He was born May 20, 1914, in Carrollton.
He attended Carrollton schools and graduated in 1932. Mr. Rosebaum joined the Merchant Marines in early 1943 and served until 1945.
He married Jewel Stone on Jan. 19, 1947, at Centralia Christian Church. Mr. Rosebaum and his wife then moved to Columbia, where he worked at MU.
Mr. Rosebaum was also involved with the First Christian Church where he was a deacon emeritus.
Mr. Rosebaum is survived by a niece, Fay Stone and a cousin, Gerry Kehm.
His wife died earlier.
Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West. Services, conducted by the Rev. John Yonker, will follow at 2 p.m.
