Bob Lincoln
Bob Lincoln, a former elementary school teacher and principal in the Columbia Public School District died Wednesday, July 21, 2010. He was 78 years old.
He was born May 22, 1932, to Elmer and Grace (Underwood) Lincoln.
Mr. Lincoln married Mary Campbell on June 21, 1959, in Holcomb.
He served as the elementary school principal at Douglass High, Russell Boulevard Elementary and Field Elementary, until retiring in 1989. He loved children and greatly appreciated his faculty.
Mr. Lincoln was a graduate of MU. He was as a Korean War Veteran and served as a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. Lincoln shared many vacations with his nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.
Survivors include his wife and sister Jean Lincoln of Holcomb.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church 606 Ridgeway Ave., Columbia, MO 65203. Burial will be at a later date in southeast Missouri.
The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions may be mailed to Calvary Baptist Church.
