Opal Hinshaw Fewell
Opal Hinshaw Fewell died Monday, July 26, 2010. She was 100.
She was born Jan. 12, 1910, to Linton and Kate Wilson Hinshaw of Columbia. She attended Hickman High School, Christian College and MU. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
She married Wesley T. Fewell on Jan. 3, 1944. He died earlier.
Mrs. Fewell was a collector of antiques and enjoyed crafts. She was a member of Missouri United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fewell is survived by her two sons, Wesley H. and Kent Fewell; five grandchildren, Todd, John, Ashley, Wes and Megan Fewell; and two great-grandchildren, Carson and Cara Fewell, all of Columbia.
There is no visitation, and private family services are being held.
