James Allen
James Allen died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico, Mo. He was 78.
Mr. Allen was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Fulton to Herman and Pearl (Pierson) Allen. He married Paulette Gregory on Nov. 19, 1979.
A member of the Disabled American Veterans, Mr. Allen served in the Army during the Korean War.
He enjoyed antiques and boating.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Paulette Gregory; and sister, Betty Bommell of Cuba, Mo.
Mr. Allen will be cremated, and a burial service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Memorial Funeral Home is directing the arrangements.
