Sandra Lee Young
COLUMBIA — Sandra Lee Young died in her home on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 65.
Mrs. Young, born July 25, 1945, in Clyde Park, Mont., was a fun-loving Christian who always had a kind word to say. She started out as a cosmetologist before spending the majority of her career doing what she loved: baking and cooking. Those who knew Mrs. Young probably had an opportunity to enjoy one of her cakes.
Mrs. Young is survived by her companion, Larry Clemens; her children, Jamie Miller, JoDee Jackson, Niccole Young and Levi Young; her stepchildren, Rick Young and Cindy Miller; her father, Cliff Miller, and his wife, Pat; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Oliver Young, and mother, Helen Miller, died earlier.
Services will be conducted at 2.pm. on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Center Point Church in Columbia, 1900 N. Providence Road Suite 120.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
