Iris Elliott
Iris Elliott of Columbia died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at University Hospital. She was 94.
She was born Aug. 19, 1916, to Henry and Nettie May (Quick) Wilson.
She was married to her husband, Earl Elliott, for 66 years. They had a son, Laddie. She worked for the city of California, Mo., for several years.
Mrs. Elliott and her husband supported MU athletics and were members of Broadway Christian Church.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by a grandson, Jeffrey Elliott of Houston; a niece, Debbie Quick of Columbia; and a cousin, Francis Quick of Jefferson City.
Her husband; her son, Laddie Elliott; a sister, Rita Cavender; and two brothers, Harold Wilson and Rellis Wilson, died earlier.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W., with a graveside service following at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
