Leslie 'Les' Bradshaw
COLUMBIA — Leslie “Les” Bradshaw of Columbia died Feb. 6, 2011, of cancer. He was 61.
He was born April 3, 1949, in Boone County to Frank and Lucille Nowlin Bradshaw.
He married Charlotte Stephens on May 31, 1968.
Mr. Bradshaw was a mechanic who later opened his own painting company, Les Bradshaw Painting.
He loved spending time at the Osage River with his family and friends.
An avid bowler, Mr. Bradshaw was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Oakland Baptist Church.
Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his wife, Charlotte Bradshaw; three daughters, Leslie Dingwell, Laura Straub and Renee Kammerich; one son, Jason Bradshaw; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His parents and three siblings died earlier.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel, 1610 N. Garth Ave in Columbia. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 1217 Business Loop 70 W.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of Mr. Bradshaw.
