Barbara A. Kidwell
Barbara A. Kidwell of Ashland died Feb. 28, 2011. She was 69.
Mrs. Kidwell was born April 14, 1941, to James Elwood and Orilla M. Nichols.
Her first marriage was to Lloyd B. Hazell. She later married Jim Kidwell.
Mrs. Kidwell worked at MU from 1977 until her retirement in 1999. She was a member of the Southern Boone County Senior Center in Ashland. She enjoyed dancing and quilting.
Mrs. Kidwell is survived by a brother, Jerry Nichols, and his wife, Sandy; two daughters, Joni Calvin, and Jani Sapp and her husband, Randy; two grandsons, Adam Martin and Jared Calvin; and special friend Mitchell Bennett.
Her husband, Jim Kidwell, died earlier.
Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home, 601 N. Henry Clay Blvd. in Ashland. Services will follow at 3 p.m. The burial will be at Little Bonne Femme Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested in place of flowers to the Southern Boone County Senior Center.
