John Blakemore
COLUMBIA — John Blakemore of Columbia died Tuesday, March 1, 2011. He was 81.
He was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Columbia to Vernon and Mary Fenton Blakemore.
Mr. Blakemore spent four years in the Air Force and 30 years in the Missouri Air National Guard.
Mr. Blakemore is survived by two children, John Blakemore and wife, Lisa, of Columbia, and Lisa Blakemore and husband, George, of Tucson, Ariz.; and one granddaughter, Katelyn Blakemore of Tucson, Ariz.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. in Columbia. The service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at the same address.
