Lorna G. White
COLUMBIA — Lorna G. White of Columbia died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Boone Hospital Center. She was 83.
She was born Feb. 6, 1928, to Clyde and Gertrude Coons.
She married Raymond White on Dec. 27, 1946.
Mrs. White is survived by her husband, Raymond; a daughter, Judy Johnson, and her husband, Richard, of Joplin; a sister, Margaret Beatty, and her husband, Morry, of Denison, Texas; two granddaughters, Jennifer Johnson of Denver, and Rebecca Hodges of Joplin; and two great-grandsons, Ethan and William Baker of Joplin.
A son, David White, and two brothers, Don and Charles Coons, died earlier.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W., in Columbia. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to whomever the donor chooses.
