Betty L. Jennings
COLUMBIA — Betty L. Jennings of Columbia died Sunday, March 6, 2011. She was 93.
She was born June 28, 1917, in Columbia, to Charles and Charlotte (Redmon) Moore.
She was a member of the Fifth Street Christian Church.
Ms. Jennings is survived by her husband, Ben Turner of Columbia; one daughter, Mary K. Turner of Columbia; two sisters, Elizabeth Cochran of Springfield, Ill., and Minnie Washington of Columbia; one granddaughter, Yolande Hatton of Columbia; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Two brothers and a grandson died earlier.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at H.T. May & Son Funeral Homes, 2207 Holly Ave., in Columbia. Services will follow at 1 p.m. The burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, 1217 Business Loop 70 W.
