Mildred M. Pauley
Mildred M. Pauley of Ashland died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at her daughter’s home. She was 90.
She was born Sept. 25, 1920, in Boone County to Lloyd and Melinda Ellen (Estes) Purcell.
She married Robert Pauley on Nov. 12, 1938, in Ashland.
Mrs. Pauley was a homemaker and farmed her whole life.
Mrs. Pauley is survived by a son, Richard Pauley of Columbia; three daughters, Nettie Ramsdell of Hartsburg, Nancy Nichols and Neta Fay Pauley, both of Ashland; a brother, Marvin Purcell of Ashland; a sister, Marvalea Crump of Ashland; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her husband; two brothers; and one sister died earlier.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at New Salem Cemetery, 6300 New Salem Lane, in Ashland.
Memorial contributions can be made to New Salem Cemetery in care of the family.
