COLUMBIA — Larry Ewings died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, in Columbia. He was 61.
Mr. Ewings was born Dec. 18, 1949, in Columbia to Ortha Ewings and Mildred Forsee Fox.
Mr. Ewings retired after working for Columbia Water and Light for 33 years.
Mr. Ewings is survived by his two children, Clinton Ewings and Quinton Ewings and his wife, Becky; his parents, Ortha and Mildred Ewings; nine siblings, Eunice George, Penny McNear, Dean Ewings, Patricia Fowler, Mark Ewings, Kenny Ewings, Joyce Ewings, Betty Ewings and John Paul Ewings; and six grandchildren, Bridger Ewings, Nick Ewings, Josh Ewings, Quinton Ewings Jr., Zach Ewings and Alex Ewings.
His brother, Jamie Ewings, and a granddaughter, Kuiristen Ewings, died earlier.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Home.
