Robert "Bobby" Doyle Hudson
COLUMBIA — Robert Doyle Hudson died Tuesday, May 3, 2011. He was 72.
Mr. Hudson was born Jan. 13, 1939, in Jefferson City to Doyle and Gladys Sappington Hudson.
He graduated from West Plains High School and worked as a carpenter and in construction in Columbia.
He married Vonna Dell Fox on Dec. 24, 1959.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife; a daughter, Cindy Klippel and her husband Homer, of Columbia; two sisters, Shirley Bennett and her husband Eddie, of Columbia and Nell Jones and her husband Kenny, of Columbia; a brother-in-law, Jack Cook, of West Plains; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kyger, of Columbia; three grandchildren, Jason Farrar and companion Liz, Justin Farrar and wife Aeron and Keri Klippel and fiancée Seann Roth; four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His parents, son Jimmy, brother Bill Kyger and sister-in-law Barbara Cook died earlier.
At Mr. Hudson's request, no services will be held.
Memorials may be sent to Mount Pleasant Cemetery Association in Hartsburg.
