Roberta Jane Werner-Monnig
AURORA — Roberta Jane Werner-Monnig of Aurora died in her home on Monday, May 30, 2011. She was 58.
She was born on Feb. 6, 1953, to Robert Eugene and Alta Jane (Busby) Werner in Colorado Springs, Co.
She worked as a seamstress for the TT Group Shoe Factory in Aurora.
She is survived by three daughters, Melissa Bucksath and her husband, John, of Columbia, Camille Jones and her husband, Mark, of Mt. Vernon, and Nicole Coffey and her husband, Travis, of Eolia; their father, Ronald Monnig of Slater; four sisters, Bonita McKinley of Aurora, Diana Covel of Independence, Kan., Marcella Kauffman and her husband, Doug, of Verona, and Rebecca DeRuyter and her husband, Rich, of Verona; five grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Olivia, Isabell and Ian.
Her parents died earlier.
Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, 303 Jefferson Ave., in Aurora.
Services are set to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Spring River Cemetery in Verona.
