Joshua Taylor Boyer
COLUMBIA — Joshua Taylor Boyer of Columbia died Monday, June 13, 2011, at his home. He was 13.
He was born Oct. 11, 1997, in Columbia to Eleanor Bernice Toomey.
Joshua was a member of the New Oakland Baptist Church in Ralls County, and he was a seventh-grader at Gentry Middle School.
He enjoyed baseball, fishing, listening to music and using Facebook.
Jacob is survived by his mother, Eleanor Bernice Jarman, and father, Alan; biological father, Mitch Boedecker; two brothers, Samuel Jeffrey Boyer and Jacob Alan Jarman of Columbia; grandparents, Bruce Rochon of Linn and Elaine Vanderveer of Columbia, James Lee Jarman and Alpha Jarman of Monroe City, Dorothy Boedecker of Festus; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, 315 N. Vine St. in Monroe City. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Grubb will conduct the service. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Ralls County.
