Vickie L. Diehl-Bangs
COLUMBIA — Vickie L. Diehl-Bangs of Columbia died Saturday, June 11, 2011, of cancer. She was 59.
Mrs. Diehl-Bangs was a creative and artistic person, and her family said they will miss her humor and joy.
Mrs. Diehl-Bangs is survived by her husband of 30 years, John K. Bangs; two daughters, Ashley and Amy; and six brothers and sisters.
Her parents, Madeline and Kermit Diehl, died earlier.
Mrs. Diehl-Bangs requested no formal visitation or funeral. Perlow-Stevens Gallery in downtown Columbia held a memorial evening of art in her honor.
