Robert Wayne Poe
Robert Wayne Poe of Centralia died Sunday, July 24, 2011. He was 62.
Mr. Poe was born Sept. 16, 1948, in Columbia to Jesse Robert and Olive Leah (Campbell) Poe.
Mr. Poe is described by his family as a simple man who loved being outside. He also worked as a groundskeeper at MU for a number of years.
Mr. Poe is survived by a sister, Freda Tidball of Centralia; two brothers, Gary Poe and wife Pamela Ludwig of Navarre, Fla., and Stephen Poe of Centralia; two nephews, Adam Poe of Florida, and Kevin Tidball and wife Jennifer of Columbia; two nieces, Kelly Poe of Florida, and Michelle Poe of Portland, Ore.; three great-nephews; and one great-niece.
His parents died earlier.
Visitation is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services will follow at the funeral home.
