Janet McMickle Roddy
Janet Roddy of Columbia died Sunday, July 31, 2011, at The Bluffs. She was 99 years old.
She was born July 3, 1912, to Charlie Frank and Mary Miller Moore of Memphis, Mo. The Moore family later moved to Columbia, where she graduated from Hickman High School.
Mrs. Roddy is survived by a son, John William McMickle and his wife, Donna, of Columbia and by several nieces and nephews.
Her husband John B. McMickle, her second husband, William Roddy, her brothers Jim Moore, Morris Moore, Sam Moore, Frank Moore and John Moore and her sister, Helen Wiggins, died earlier.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Midway Locust Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Columbia, located at 2600 N. Locust Grove Church Road.
